Aren't these the cutest cupcakes?

I had two neighbor ladies and their girls over today

to celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday

and my awesome neighbor, Lisa,

made (and brought) these

duck and sun cupcakes.

I've never seen such a cool-looking cupcake

Oh, the kids LOVED them (I did too)

such a fun treat.

Every year my kids celebrate their birthday 'several' times,

once with mom & dad, on the exact date

again with Nana & Auntie Cassie

and again with friends.

and every year I say,

ok

next year we are going to celebrate it only once.

I say this only because they begin to expect several celebrations.

Well here I am, a new year, and a new round of birthdays

and this girl actually had her THIRD party tonight (pics to come)

and I know there will be another...

any suggestions as to how I should handle this?
