a Day at the Park

Today was BEAUTIFUL!

We had to get out of the house, so I couldn't see everything that needed to be done (like always)

and just enjoy this gorgeous Saturday doing something together as a family.

We went to Elm Creek Park, and discovered the Ultimate Park (under new construction)

the kids and I are just TRILLED for summer to come

and for the park to be completed.

Here are a few snapshots from today (from my camera phone)

I'm obsessed with dressing my girls alike, hopefully I get over this obsession soon,

it's getting expensive.

I can barely go into Target without leaving with something for them, that matches.

Nelson was all over the place, he is such a monkey.  It was quite sloppy out, he got soak, and had to run to Once Upon a Child to pick up a new pair of pants, before we went to dinner.

Even Mom tried out the new swing,

lot's of fun!

 Austin had a blast throwing the football back n forth with his Dad

We enjoyed a fun dinner at Old Country Buffet,

I could not believe their prices,

2-3 year olds were $1.99

5-7 year olds were $3.99

I thought that was a great deal,

and it was such a treat!

We ended our day out with a trip to the book store.

Towards the end, Nelson was getting tired and started fussing, so we knew it was time to leave. 

As we were leaving this lady (just a customer at Barnes & Noble) came up to me (she was just furious)

and said "I will give you a dollar if you leave RIGHT now"

...she was about to explode because Nelson was fussing (he wasn't even that out of control). 

obviously she was never blessed with children.

Sure enough, he fell asleep on the drive home.

I love my Family!
