Earlier in the week

I meet with this fun couple. 

They will be getting married

next month.

I am very excited

and looking forward

to photographing 

their wedding!

With all my weddings,

I love meeting the couple during an engagement session.

We get to know each other a bit,

get comfortable with the camera

and can go over a few wedding details.

It's always a fun time.

My First Grader picked the category 'Photography'

for his AAA (Arts and Academics) project.

I'm so proud of him.

He actually built a few different Lego things (cars/bug)

and then photographed them.

Here he is at work...looks like a natural

Every day he asks if he can take more photos.

It was his idea to take individual shots of each Lego creation.

I may need to hand over my old camera more often.

He really had a blast with this project.

I will post more photos from the AAA Program which will be at the end of the month.

Day 26

Anyone else having issues with their school kids being in an all around bad mood?...I'm guessing it's the weather, I don't know, but I don't have patience for it. 

One day it was "my toe hurts, I can't walk"...so sat outside the front door FOREVER, certain he was going to miss the bus..he finally gets about half way to the bus stop and the bus comes and he starts running...ha (I laughed to myself) your toe must not hurt that bad. 

And last night he was SO hungry, he wanted french fries, well we didn't HAVE any french fries (in the freezer)...so he wouldn't eat anything else...and again this morning, he wanted 'colored' cereal, well we didn't have any 'colored' cereal..nope he wouldn't eat anything. 

Oh, makes me want to scream. 

That's the story around here,

I just can't make anyone happy

...you know, maybe that's the problem,

I try too hard to make everyone happy.

Oh man, I can't wait for Spring/Summer, "CAN'T WAIT" I say!

Headband Give-a-way and child photo session from December

My baby girl, this morning, after bath time...she was on the go,

I couldn't get the shot that I wanted.  She sat still for about .5 seconds. 

I got these silk flowers to make headbands for a church fundraiser...

I thought it would be fun to create a special one for one of my blog readers.
